Futureflip Kitchener completed project featuring Axon™ cladding

Discover the latest project from Futureflip featuring Axon™ Cladding 133mm smooth by James Hardie. For this project, the client wanted a contemporary look with classic references and forms – so they decided to go with a Scandi-barn look for their home.

The Kitchener project features steeply pitched rooves with a simple yet bold aesthetic. A hallmark of the Scandi Barn look is keeping the textures smooth and the shadow lines crisp and that is perfectly achieved here with the use of Axon cladding. The uniform Axon™ Cladding also works so well against the brick and timber to create a great sense of texture. The Axon™ Cladding is with Wattyl Solagard in the colour “Dune”. The combination of the durable fibre cement cladding with the UV-blockout formulation from the Wattyl Solagard means that the home will continue to look fresh!

Axon™ Cladding is also quick and easy to install because of the shiplap joint on the long edges. You can also gun nail the cladding to timber frames to speed up the installation process.

Axon™ Cladding comes in 3 different profiles 133mm smooth, 133mm grained and 400mm smooth. Here Futureflip have chosen to use Axon 133mm smooth.
