Previously we shared with you the installation process for this ‘Box Modern meets Palm Springs’ home from Futureflip.
The Brolga project is now finished and we are excited to share with you the end result.
Clean modern looks are in high demand because they have a fresh feel and won’t date easily – this is definitely the case for the Brolga project by Futureflip. By using Linea™ Weatherboards 180mm in a fresh, white colour palette, Futureflip have created this stunning modern home with clean, sleek lines that epitomise modern architecture.
They have also cleverly incorporated different box forms with no visible roofline and arranged them in an interesting way. By using a variety of stacked boxes and elevated forms the second dwelling within the home has been cleverly hidden – can you spot it?
Durability was a non-negotiable for Futureflip when selecting products for this home given it’s close proximity to the beach (200 metres). This made the decision to use James Hardie Linea™ Weatherboard 180mm incredibly easy. Made from fibre cement, Linea is extremely durable and resistant to damage from shrinking, swelling and cracking.
