At James Hardie, we’re committed to delivering innovative building solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. That’s why we’re excited to announce an important update to our lightweight structural flooring range—introducing the optimised Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring.
Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring is lightweight structural flooring, installed over timber or steel floor joists, and can be used as an internal substrate for tile, vinyl or carpet. It can also be used in external applications as a substrate for tile finishes.
The Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring range has been optimised to offer a dual application solution, suitable for both interior and exterior use. This means one product can now do the job of two, helping reduce installation complexity and lower costs—especially for exterior applications.
To align with the strength of the Hardie™ brand, the range has been rebranded as Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring. This update reinforces our commitment to quality and innovation, while maintaining the same trusted performance.
More builders said they would use Hardie™ fibre cement products for wet area structural flooring in their own homes compared to other materials.*
Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring can contribute to 7 stars without the need to modify the flooring structure on upper storeys.
Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring is lightweight structural flooring. With a tongue and groove joint and a unique low-density formulation, Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring can be gun nailed without the need for pre-drilling holes for a quick installation process.
Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring features a surface sealer to help reduce moisture penetration —so water beads on the surface rather than soaking in. It can also be exposed to the elements for up to 3 months without warping or twisting. There is also no need for full floor waterproofing outside enclosed shower areas.
Hardie™ Secura™ Flooring is Australian made with a 25-year warranty, providing peace of mind in a trusted, long-lasting product.
