HOUSE 13 – The Australian Staycation

The Three Birds Renovations latest project, House 13 is the ultimate Australian Staycation.

Designed and built during a global pandemic, the Three Birds explain, “never before has the term #Staycation been so relevant and the vision for our latest project was created with holidays at home in mind.” Achieving that Hamptons inspired coastal look - no matter the location - was all in the details for the build by Three Birds Renovation. And their latest project, featuring James Hardie’s range of versatile fibre cement products, used board and batten to create the ultimate relaxed, coastal vibes.

To achieve a cohesive board and batten look, the team used Hardie™ Flex Sheets and Axent™ Trim by James Hardie. Both products are made from James Hardie fibre cement, making them durable, reliable, and ready for whatever the hard Australian elements bring. “Using Hardie™ cladding means that you get the look and feel of timber, but with the durability of fibre cement, which means it’s resistant to rotting, warping, splintering, termites and it’s really paint friendly,” says Lana.
