Versilux Lining is a pre-sealed flat sheet with square edges for butt joints.

Sanded smooth and pre-sealed, Versilux™ Lining provides a flat surface that is site-painted to create a panellised look. Unlike Villaboard™ Lining, Versilux™ Lining is square on the long edges for making butt joins and accessory joins doing away with set joints that can require extra finishing time and cost.

Read more details

Versilux™ Lining is suitable for use in eaves, soffits and ceilings as well as internal walls in high-traffic areas. It suits residential, medium-density and commercial buildings where a durable, flat panel look is required.

Villaboard™ Lining

Villaboard™ Lining

Villaboard™ is a durable wall lining, ideal for use under tiles, which makes it perfect for your kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Unlike Plasterboard, Villaboard™ Lining is inherently resistant to moisture damage and rot. It won’t deform or lose its structural integrity when exposed to moisture, which can help to reduce the extent of damage and resulting repair costs in the event of accidents. Villaboard™ Lining has incredible hanging power for tiles, hooks and fixings. With a tensile bond strength up to 75 per cent greater than commonly used wet area plasterboard, it can hold tiles with a maximum weight between 30 and 60 kg/m2 depending on the thickness of the tiles and Villaboard™ Lining sheet used, to help ensure expensive bathroom tiles are secure. It is ideal for paint, wallpaper, tiles, or even a combination of these on the same wall, creating a wide range of designs to suit your home. Villaboard™ Lining also suits many other areas of the home. It is impact resistant and has excellent acoustic performance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas like hallways and garages. __Key Features__ - Resistant to fire, rot, and damage from termites and moisture - Can be bundled with [Secura™ Flooring](https://www.jameshardie.com.au/productrange/scyon-secura-interior-flooring) for a full wet area solution - Gun-nail to timber frames or screw to light gauge steel frames - Long edges recessed for easy flush-jointing - Can be cut to size easily with the [Villaboard™ Score and Snap Knife](https://www.jameshardie.com.au/accessory/villaboard-knife), minimising creation of dust on site - Suitable as structural bracing for buildings within the scope of NZS 3604 up to and including extra high wind zones - 25-year product warranty ![australian-made-logo](//images.ctfassets.net/rg5y8r6t6cjr/2s0SCDct7xoVfAooJNxFlt/6d25b7f131acd6e695bf2069e537d688/australian-made-logo.png)![GreenTag GreenRate](//images.ctfassets.net/rg5y8r6t6cjr/63axGyuKLuJI0Zx7ekUKL7/6ce1372a7ee0a1034362e99d0690b5b2/GreenTag_GreenRate.png) Discover which Hardie™ fibre cement products are GreenRate™ certified and more on our [Sustainability & ESG page](https://www.jameshardie.com.au/sustainability-esg-initiatives).
