The exterior presents a pair of eye-catching gable roofs with no eaves. They’re framed by projecting gables that continue down the walls and meet at the base of the second storey. Beyond the form, the texture of the home is compelling with a mix of vertical joint style cladding and brickwork. Recycled Italian bricks provide horizontal lines and a patchwork of colour. Conversely, James Hardie’s fibre cement Axon™ Cladding is perfectly uniform giving the look of precisely crafted vertical joint timber. Since Axon™ Cladding is made of fibre cement, it can still be painted the contemporary matte charcoal to match the window trims and roof capping.
