Why we think James Hardie is #1 for internal cladding

Texture is such an important part of designing or styling a room. It’s usually associated with blankets, carpet and soft furnishings but you can bring texture into a room with your choice of wall materials too! Your walls don’t all have to be plasterboard and cladding is a gorgeous way to add texture and character into a space.

There are a range of internal cladding products on the market to choose from but not all cladding is made equal! When it comes to choosing cladding for your home, we always recommend doing your research and weighing up the product benefits, rather than making a purely cost-based decision.

Why we choose James Hardie products

Unlike cheaper, timber brands, James Hardie cladding is made from fibre cement and with that comes some huge benefits. Fibre cement won’t burn (making it suitable for kitchen splash backs), it’s water-resistant (great for bathroom walls), resistant to termites and, when installed as directed, it’s resistant to rotting and warping, which is not the case for most timber cladding products
